Peloton will begin hiring hundreds more employees and expanding its Plano footprint in 2021, commercial real estate services firm CBRE announced in a Dec. 9 release.
The fitness platform is adding another 103,750 square feet to its Legacy Central offices by taking over an adjacent single-story building, the release said. The expansion means the company's more than 131,000 square feet in Plano is now four times larger than the previous lease and will allow the company to hire up to 1,600 new corporate employees over the next five years.
Among the additions to the Plano campus are a state-of-the-art fitness center, wellness and mother's rooms, and a corporate training hub, David Deason, senior vice president of Peloton, said in the release.
"Our new building at Legacy Central helps our goal to be the best place to work and will be reflective of our collaborative culture,” he said.
