The Seattle-based DrSnip has opened its first Texas location in Plano.

The vasectomy clinic is known for its no-needle, no-scalpel technique and completes the procedure in less than 15 minutes, according to a news release.
“Too many men approach vasectomy care witih anxiety or uncertainty,” CEO Jeffrey Cho said in a statement. “DrSnip was built to make the experience feel calm, respectful and more comfortable.”

DrSnip was founded in 1987 as The Vasectomy Clinic in Seattle and has since opened a location in Portland as well, according to the release.
Cho said the Plano location is the clinic’s third location. It will have a grand opening event July 23 from 3:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. that will include a ribbon cutting, refreshments, giveaways, clinic tours, and physician availability for community members.
