A rezoning request that would provide redevelopment for the property housing the former Electronic Data Systems headquarters will be considered by Plano City Council at its upcoming meeting.
After being tabled in both August and September, the request will be considered during the Oct. 23 meeting.
Two-minute impact
The Plano Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the rezoning request at its July 17 meeting before council tabled the item at the Aug. 14 and Sept. 11 meetings. The proposed development would be on the 91-acre former EDS campus and incorporate into the surrounding 109 acres that are part of the Legacy neighborhood.
