1. Plano Ghost Walk
Mic Drop Comedy is hosting a 75-minute walking tour to explore Plano’s haunted past, scandals and spirits. The tour includes a professional guide, comedic narration and a VIP return ticket for a future comedy event.
2. Beetlejuice Jr. musical
The North Texas Performing Arts troupe in Plano is performing a play inspired by the Broadway musical, Beetlejuice. In the musical, the protagonist Lydia Deetz moves into a house haunted by a recently deceased couple and the demon, Beetlejuice.
3. Fall Plano Train Show
The North Texas Council of Railroad Clubs is hosting its fifth fall Plano Train Show at the Plano Event Center. More than 18 layouts are on display at the show, according to the website.
4. Otsukimi Moon-Viewing Festival
The Japan America Society of DFW is hosting its full-moon viewing festival at Haggard Park with planned performances and demonstrations like Taiko drum playing, sumo wrestling, traditional dance and martial arts. Free games and activities will be available for children and vendors will be selling food and merchandise.
5. Friends of the Farmstead
The Heritage Farmstead Museum is having its 15th anniversary of its fundraising dinner and concert. The event will include craft cocktails, Texas BBQ, silent auctions and dancing.
