A new restaurant with Hawaiian-inspired plate lunches, Ono Hawaiian BBQ, is opening its first Texas location in late July.
What they offer
Ono Hawaiian BBQ has a variety of meat options like Hawaiian BBQ chicken and beef, chicken katsu, teriyaki chicken, Island white fish and fire chicken, crispy shrimp and kalua pork. Some of its sides include spam musubi, rice and crab rangoon.
Ono Hawaiian BBQ was founded in 2002 according to its website and has more than 130 locations in California and Arizona. Its new Plano location will have a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. July 24 with a $100 gift card raffle, live Hawaiian dancers and a buy-one-get-one-free special according to a company social media post.
