1. Cafe Meltie
The Korean and French inspired cafe offers a variety of coffee, tea and juice. A Cafe Meltie store worker said they also have pastry options, including their creme croissants, their most popular pastry. Some coffee options include lattes, their caramel macchiato and cappuccinos. Cafe Meltie also has tea and juice options like green tea and grapefruit-ade.
2. Desperados
The restaurant serves a variety of tacos from shrimp and fish to brisket and grilled beef. Other dishes include flautas, chili relleno and enchiladas according to its menu. Some of its desserts include flan and its cuatro leches cake made in-house. The Plano location is one of three in the Dallas-Fort Worth area according to its website.
3. Tongue In Cheek
Marketing Director Natali Kling said the North Texas-based ice cream shop offers handcrafted, in-house flavors with a playful personality. Tongue In Cheek offers more than 28 rotating flavors that include unique and seasonal options.
4. Odd Muse Craft & Kitchen
The Plano taproom serves Odd Muse beers including lagers, pilsners, stouts, IPAs and more. In addition to 23 rotating taps of beer, Odd Muse Craft & Kitchen offers classic bar fare, such as wings, hand-cut fries and burgers, according to previous Community Impact reporting.
5. Pizza Twist
In addition to traditional pizza, pasta and wings, the pizzeria also offers Indian fusion pizzas with toppings like butter chicken and palak paneer served on naan crust.
