Plano’s planning and zoning commission approved new site plans July 20 for various developments to make additional space in the city for new businesses.

Plano officials approved new warehouse and office space near Plano Parkway and Custer Road.
The current facilities on a 64.4-acre site, which is located near the Richardson border, would be demolished with one-third of the land to stay vacant for future development, per city documents. A proposed administrative office and warehouse or distribution center would be located on the western two lots of the site.
One facility would have 19,350 square feet of office space and 174,150 square feet of warehouse space. The second would have 10,800 square feet of office space and 97,200 square feet of warehouse space, per city documents.

A development for general administrative offices, retail and restaurant space was approved on the east side of Chase Oaks Boulevard near Legacy Drive.
The proposed space would reach a maximum height of two stories and have 8,270 square feet of space for its restaurant, retail or office per city documents. The 1.4 acres of land are currently vacant. The site is located near other strips for restaurants and grocery stores like Jusgo Supermarket and Yifang Taiwan Fruit Tea.

Just over 4 acres near SH 190 and Texas Drive were approved for general administrative office space.
The new development near the Richardson border is planned to have 12 office buildings, per city documents. Eight of the buildings will have 4,122 square feet of space, and four will have 4,995 square feet of space.
