Plano to host town hall on $647 million in bond proposals

City officials will host an April 10 town hall at the Plano Municipal Center to answer questions from the community on the upcoming $647 million May 3 bond election.

Residents can participate via phone, at 888-409-5380, or watch the event online on Plano’s Facebook page and YouTube channel, where the town hall will be streamed.

Residents can also sign up for Plano’s Teletownhall to receive an invitation to listen and ask questions via phone.

The context

The May bond election includes proposals for street and fire station improvements, a new police headquarters, parks projects, library and fleet operations center renovations and a new police training center.
