What motivated you to run for this position?

My life has been centered on service as a U.S. Army veteran, healthcare professional, transplant advocate, and community volunteer. I am running to continue that service, advocating for our students, educators, and families while ensuring every child has access to opportunities that help them learn, grow, and succeed.

If elected, what will be your top priorities to address district challenges?

My priorities are strengthening student achievement, supporting and retaining educators, promoting responsible stewardship of district resources, and rebuilding community trust through transparency and engagement. I want to ensure our decisions reflect the needs of students and families while creating safe, supportive environments where every student has an opportunity to thrive.

If elected, what new district projects or policies would you like to see implemented?

I would implement transforming closed schools into student enrichment and innovation centers through community partnerships. Organizations like Boys & Girls Clubs could offer tutoring, mentoring, STEM activities, and other programs which would turn vacant locations into safe, productive spaces where students can continue learning, creating, and growing beyond the classroom.

Six years ago, I recognized barriers to better serving students, staff and families and knew meaningful change required being where policy decisions are made. If elected, what will be your top priorities to address district challenges?

My priorities are increasing enrollment, advancing our state and federal legislative priorities, and ensuring continued progress on our strategic plan. I will focus on responsible stewardship, student outcomes, safety and security, innovative programming, and unifying our district around a strong, sustainable future for every student and staff member.

If elected, what new district projects or policies would you like to see implemented?

I want PfISD to be a district families trust: becoming a Unified Champion district, establishing a stakeholder legislative advisory committee, strengthening enrollment and marketing, expanding innovative programming aligned with enrollment, enlistment and employment pathways, and leading in upstream approaches to safety, belonging and preparing every student for their future.
