Pflugerville ISD to hold showcase for career, technical education programs Oct. 17

Pflugerville ISD will hold a family-friendly event showcasing its career and technical education programs Oct. 17, featuring games and a career costume contest.

The details

PfISD community members will have an opportunity to learn more about the district's CTE program Oct. 17 6-8 p.m. at Windermere Elementary, 429 Grand Ave. Parkway, Pflugerville, according to the district.

In addition to games, district staff will provide information on postsecondary training and career planning opportunities within the district. Staff will also share information on:

• Locally in-demand careers
• Post-secondary educational options
• Future planning for students receiving special education and 504 services
• Existing CTE learning options for PfISD students

The career costume contest will be open to children in prekindergarten through fifth grade.
