Hutto ISD students will be paying $0.10 more for their lunches in the coming school year, after Hutto ISD trustees approved an increase to the price of paid lunches in June.

Trustees approved the increase June 27, bringing the price of paid lunches to $2.85 for elementary school students, $3.10 for secondary school students and $4 for adult meals in the 2024-25 school year.
HISD Chief Financial Officer Caleb Steed said the increase comes as a requirement and compliance measure from the Texas Education Agency.
