Hutto ISD will welcome more than 10,000 students for the first day of the 2026-27 school year Aug. 12.
What to expect
Several campus improvement projects funded by the 2023 bond are underway in the district, including renovations to Hutto High School that are expected to be completed in November.
The comprehensive renovation adds rebuilt welding and agricultural education spaces, updated robotics and auto mechanics shops, health science and audio-visual technical labs, new fine arts spaces, and an upgraded competition gym.
