Three Pflugerville ISD board of trustees places will be up for election later this year.
The board unanimously approved an election order during its regular meeting Jan. 16, calling for an election for places 3, 4 and 5 to be held in May.
The gist
Place 3 is currently held by Renae Mitchell, who is also board president. Mitchell was first elected to the board in 2016.
Place 4 is held by Vernagene Mott, who was first elected in 2004.
Place 5 is held by Kelly Daniel, who is board vice president. Daniel was elected to the board in 2023.
Trustees represent the entire district and registered PfISD voters can vote for each place. Trustee terms last three years without compensation.
