Pecan St. Station Deli & Grill will close Oct. 11 after 26 years in business.

Brian Hernandez became the owner of Pecan St. Station in July, taking over for Paul Prestridge, who decided to retire. Hernandez worked at the deli for 18 years previously.
According to a post on Facebook, Hernandez purchased the business without owning the building, which he stated was “a risk.” The building is currently up for sale.
Hernandez said in the post his goal “was to keep the restaurant running, keep our employees working, and continue serving the customers and community who have supported us for so long.”
