Taylor Morrison announces 1,341-home community in Hutto

Hutto will soon gain a new community with 1,341 single-family homes just north of SH 130 and US 79.

Homebuilder Taylor Morrison announced the new community, called Emory Crossing, in a press release Sept. 16.

Emory Crossing will offer homes with a variety of one- and two-story floor plans ranging from 1,700 to 3,000 square feet. Homes will be priced beginning at $330,000.

The community will also feature amenities including a pool, a clubhouse and a nature playscape provided in partnership with the National Wildlife Federation.

Hutto City Council approved the 315-acre development on which Emory Crossing will be located for a mix of housing types in June 2018.

“This is our first community in Hutto and we are excited to bring quality homes at a great price to this fast-growing area,” said April Whitaker, Taylor Morrison Division President for Austin, in the release. “Emory Crossing is in a great location and allows buyers the space they need while still keeping the character and small town feel that residents love about this town.”
