Feb. 20: Dad-daughter date

The city of Friendswood’s annual event catered to fathers and daughters has taken the form of a drive-in movie event with a showing of “The Greatest Showman.” Games, food from Chick-fil-A and a photo booth will also be available. 5:30 p.m. (parking lot opens), 6:30 p.m. (movie starts). $15 (residents), $20 (nonresidents). Feb. 20-21: ‘Cinderella’ ballet

The Friendswood Contemporary Ballet troupe is retelling “Cinderella,” the classic fairy tale of an ordinary girl’s transformation from servant to princess, with a mix of local professional dancers and aspiring dancers.
