Chipotle Mexican Grill opening drive-thru location in Pearland

Chipotle Mexican Grill is opening a new location in Pearland with a drive-thru this December, according to a news release from the quick-service restaurant.

Coined a 'Chipotlane,' the restaurant will feature a drive-thru pickup lane that allows guests to pick up digital orders without leaving their cars, according to the Dec. 4 release from the company.

The eatery offers build-your-own options for burritos, bowls, salads, tacos and quesadillas, per its website. Chipotle also sells guacamole and tortilla chips that are made fresh daily.

For a limited time, Chipotle is offering Mexican-inspired smoke brisket in addition to its chicken, beef barbacoa, carnitas, steak and sofritas, a plant-based protein option.

The new Pearland Chipotle has approximately 30 jobs available, with benefits including a debt-free college degree program, English as a second language classes and access to mental health care.
