Nov. 5: UFC Gym Grand Opening
UFC Gym owner HaYoung Kim celebrates the grand opening of a 9,000-square-foot facility in Pearland. The day-long event features activities such as family kickboxing, mixed martial arts and a sparring session. Nov. 5: 5K Under the Stars
Shadow Creek Ranch Outdoors hosts a 5k run sponsored by Wipala Snacks. The event features the race, along with a 1k run for children. A bounce house will be available for children, as well. The event also includes live music, snacks and beer. 6:30 p.m. (race begins). $45 (age 21 and older), $35 (ages 20 and younger), $25 (children’s 1k race). 111814 N. Nov. 5: Kids Fish Fest
Through a partnership with Bass Pro Shops, the city of Pearland will host an outreach program for ages 3-16. Participants learn about fishing, conservation and respect for the environment.
