Tacos Toreados in Pearland will close on August 16 due to the planned Broadway Street expansion project by the Texas Department of Transportation, according to a social media post from the business.
The eatery will continue offering catering services as it searches for a new brick-and-mortar location, according to the post.
What happened
The expansion will widen Broadway Street from four to six lanes between Hwy. 288 to Hwy. 35, with construction expected to begin in 2027, according to TxDOT.
