Southern Purl Fiber Co., a shop selling yarn and embroidery materials, will host its grand opening in Pearland in late February, owner Amanda Hill said.

The shop will sell a variety of fiber and crafting materials from brands including Circulo, Juniper Moon, Queensland and LYKKE Crafts, Hill said.
Southern Purl Fiber will host crotchet and knitting classes, workshops and knit-alongs, where guests can bring their own projects to work on together, throughout the year Hill said.
