The Round Rock ISD board of trustees will hold a workshop May 18 to discuss the relationship between the new superintendent and the trustees and more, said board president Catherine Hanna at the May 16 meeting.
The workshop will be facilitated by the search firm Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates of the Educational Consultants and Research Associates Group, the leadership recruitment firm the district hired to assist in the superintendent search.
"Part of what we hope to get out of this particular workshop with the consultants is to really go ahead and start talking about our relationship with the superintendent that we have not even met yet," Hanna said. "It's almost starting to work on our superintendent evaluation before we have the superintendent."
Hanna said that the board invited the five candidates selected to interview for trustee Colby's position, Place 6, to attend the workshop. The board will interview those candidates on May 20. To view the agendas for future board meetings, visit the website.
