Mexican-inspired comfort food restaurant Eldorado Cafe opens Aug. 8 at 3300 W. Anderson Lane, Austin. Chef Joel Fried will serve tortas, enchiladas, quesos, salsas, cocktails and guisas, or braised and roasted meats. Look for secret messages hidden in the tile at the restaurant, which will also have lounge seating and decor and art inspired by Cuba and other coastal towns south of the border.
