Central Health is asking residents to provide input about proposed initiatives included in its 2014–16 strategic plan for health care in Travis County.
An online survey is available until Aug. 6 for Travis County residents to provide their feedback about the draft of the strategic plan. Residents may also attend an Aug. 6 from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at the Central Health offices, 1111 E. Cesar Chavez St. Spanish interpreters will be present. Central Health is the Travis County health care district.
Christie Garbe, vice president planning and communications at Central Health, said the organization is looking for more ideas on how it can provide better health services to those in need.
"We believe that community involvement and the voice of our residents is very important in helping to shape our plans for the future," Garbe said. "The plan is a bit to digest. We are asking people to make an investment in reading it prior to answering the questions."
