Taquero Mucho opens doors of North Austin location Jan. 7

Jan. 7 is the first day of Taquero Mucho's soft opening for its North Austin location.

Owned and operated by Austin restaurateurs Gabriela and Arturo Bucio of Gabriela's Group, Taquero Mucho serves a menu inspired by Michoacán family recipes, including tacos, sopes and tortas.

In addition to the food selections, the restaurant's bar menu has craft cocktails, margaritas and micheladas all made with freshly squeezed juice. Tacquero Mucho will be open daily from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. and serve a brunch menu from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

Located across from The Domain at 11101 Burnet Road, Ste. A150, Austin, the 3,800-square-feet space will feature the "Instagrammable" pink design of the original downtown Austin location, which opened in February 2020.

“The fact that we are able to expand Taquero Mucho to a second location in less than two years is a true testament to the hard work of my amazing team,” Gabriela Bucio said in a release. “I also really hope that this news provides another example to young Latinas and Latinos everywhere that dreams can come true."

The restaurant plans to have a grand opening in the spring.
