The Balcones Country Club Women's Association will host its 20th annual Market Days to raise funds for the BCCWA Scholarship Foundation, a 501(c)3 at the Balcones Country Club on Nov. 4-5.
Attendees will have access to booths of women's accessories, home decor, pottery and Christmas gifts along with a pantry of desserts and ready-to-eat casseroles for family meals. Attendees can also purchase copies of "Enchanting Temptations," a cookbook of members' favorite recipes. They can bid on silent auction items listed on the website and sign up for a raffle with items, including a $500 Visa Gift Card, an Apple watch and a gift card for the Kalahari Spa.
The club with the BCCWA scholarship foundation has raised and awarded scholarships to 205 high school students totaling $428,000 since 2004, BCCWA President Mary Heffernan said.
“Our members and Balcones Country Club donate not only time, talent and treasure, but a vocal commitment to the community to continue to help support the students at McNeil and Westwood [Round Rock] ISD [high] schools,” Heffernan said.
