With restaurant dining rooms closed across Texas and shoppers facing long lines and empty shelves at grocery stores, many restaurants in Austin are offering specials for Easter Sunday.
Many restaurants remain open for delivery and takeout. Here are five restaurants across the Northwest Austin area that are offering Easter Sunday specials.
Some restaurants may require ordering ahead, so be sure to check when each restaurant is cutting off orders.
Cru Food & Wine Bar

Cru in The Domain is offering a special Easter Sunday brunch menu. Diners can order a three course meal for $24 or order a la carte. Cru is additionally offering a mimosa kit that makes eight mimosas for $25. The restaurant has a limited number of time slots available for pickup, which lasts from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on April 12.
Interstellar BBQ is offering a special Frito Pie Sausage on April 11 and 12 for Easter weekend. The barbecue restaurant will also serve its normal offerings of smoked meats, sandwiches and vegetarian sides.
Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille

Domain Northside’s Perry Steakhouse & Grille is serving a three course Easter dinner special for $39 per person. Customers can mix and match the restaurant’s steakhouse offerings, such as a bacon-wrapped filet, grilled salmon and wedge salads. The restaurant’s mimosa kits are also 50% for Easter.

While Southside Market & Barbeque in Austin will be closed on Easter, customers can still order ahead and pick up prepared barbeque plates. The restaurant additionally sells meat, including brisket, sausages, pork ribs and turkey, for grilling and smoking at home.

Easter meals can be ordered to feed two, four to six, or eight to 10 people. The menu includes smoked ham and turkey, a choice of sides including mashed potatoes, potato salad, corn casserole and more, and a choice of desserts including banana pudding, chocolate pecan pie or peanut butter pie. All the meals include bread, pickles, onions and sauce.
