JETSET Pilates launches at The Arboretum

A new JETSET Pilates location is now open at the Arboretum in Northwest Austin, according to a news release. The new franchise location, led by owner Becky Chidester, opened on Sept. 11 for preview classes. A full grand opening celebration is set for Oct. 3, featuring light bites, a build-your-own bouquet bar, matcha from Pink Crescent and founding membership discounted rates. 

“I’m excited to create a space where people of all ages and backgrounds can strengthen their bodies, challenge themselves and become part of a community," Chidester said in the release.

JETSET Pilates offers 50-minute full-body workout classes set to a DJ-curated playlist. The new studio features 16 custom reformers and patrons can choose between the reformer, upper body and core, lower body and core, or a fundamentals class. 

The brand’s signature class is the Jetsetter Reformer, which combines strength training, cardio and pilates-inspired movements, according to the website. The reformer machine is customized specifically for the JETSET workout, modified to include platform eyelets and rope cabling. Customers will also use a pilates ring and light dumbbells throughout the class.

The brand began selling founding memberships July 9, according to previous Community Impact reporting. The founding monthly unlimited membership is $179, and the 10-class package is $199, according to Chidester.
