Canada-based Little Kitchen Academy had the grand opening for its first Texas location in Austin at Arbor Walk on Dec. 12.
The Montessori-style cooking academy is designed for children ages 3-18, with an emphasis on supporting the growth and development of each child, according to a news release.
LKA offers three options to attend:
- Multiclass sessions allow for the child to attend classes based on various schedules.
- Seasonal program offers the ability to learn everything offered throughout an entire season.
- Single classes allow the child to attend stand-alone sessions.
In addition to teaching kids to cook, Little Kitchen Academy encourages practical life skills, independence and healthy eating habits.
