Ramen Tatsu-Ya has opened its newest location in the heart of West Campus in Austin, Lil' Ramen Tatsu-Ya, bringing a locally-owned dining option to the college crowd which rules the area.

The latest location offers a limited menu focused on the restaurant’s most popular items including The OG Tonkostu, Miso Hot Tonkostu and Curry Nu Skool Vegan. Diners can also find small bites such as Edamame, Fried Gyoza, Karaage and Katsu Sliders.

In a news release, the company stated its motivation behind the new location.
“The popular Austin-based Japanese soul food brand wanted to give [The University of Texas. at Austin] campus and community its very own Ramen Tatsu-Ya,” the company stated. “So when the small grab [and] go space came available, the company jumped at the opportunity.”

The restaurant team has five additional locations throughout Austin, one in Round Rock and one in Houston.
