Mù Coffee announces residency at The Cauldron until mid-September

Mù Coffee is now serving coffee with Chinese-inspired flavors at The Cauldron in West Campus.

The specifics

Founded by The University of Texas at Austin alumni Genny and Juan Acosta-Li, the coffee business features unique drinks such as the Osmanthus Latte, Barley Cold Brew, Five Spice Mocha and Jasmine Matcha.

The couple launched the coffee business in February 2025 with inspiration to bring specialty coffee with Chinese-inspired flavors to the Austin coffee scene. They have since hosted eight pop ups around town.

Genny Acosta-Li said while the duo’s residency at the West Campus bar and event space ends in mid-September, they are already planning ahead.

“We are both UT alumni so being in the heart of West Campus means a lot to us,” Ginny Acosta-Li said. “We are here through mid-September but exploring more opportunities to bring our drinks to additional communities in Austin.”
