Crafternoon ATX, a nature-focused art studio offering youth classes and camps, will move its operations to a new studio in East Austin in February.
What’s happening
Crafternoon ATX owner and art teacher Camille Lema has operated out of a detached garage in her backyard for the last four years. They are fundraising to renovate their new studio, a house in the Cherrywood neighborhood that offers more space and “potential for programming.”
The art studio’s renovation goals include building an accessible entrance and removing a nonstructural wall to maximize the indoor space.
