North Brushy Street streetscape project may see construction in late April

The city of Leander is repaving, widening and completing streetscape improvements—including new sidewalks, landscaping and street trees—on Brushy Street from South Street to Broade Street. The city may advertise the project for bid in March. The $1 million project is funded by general obligation bonds approved in May 2016. Timeline: Construction begins late April
