Voters in Pearland and Friendswood have a lot to digest this election season as they parse through candidate talking points and select who they will vote for during the May 6 general elections.
In Pearland, 18 candidates are on the ballot for three city council, the mayor and two Pearland ISD trustee seats.
Alvin ISD, which includes Shadow Creek Ranch, canceled its school board elections after incumbents faced no challengers; Earl Humbird and Vivian Scheibel will maintain their seats as trustees.
And in Friendswood, four candidates are on the ballot for two city council seats. Six amendments to the city charter are also on the ballot.
