Restaurant hopes to expand menu in 2013

Business has been good for Neworld Cafe, a restaurant serving sandwiches, burgers, soups and salads at 3742 Far West Blvd., Ste. 101, according to co-owner Dean Bontempo.

The restaurant is going into its third year, and Bontempo said while the cafe serves a diverse clientele, he has seen an increase in the number of families coming through the doors.

"We have a kids menu, and it's [$4.50] for a kids sandwich, chips and a drink," he said. "A lot of people, I think, have been noticing that more so over this second year. We've seen a lot more families come in."

Bontempo said he hopes the business will continue to see success in 2013 and is looking to possibly add breakfast service and expand the menu.

"Of course, anyone wants to see business grow," he said. "I would say [I would want] 2013 to be what 2012 was to 2011. In other words, for the continual growth of the business."
