On June 2, the community is invited to learn how to prepare for hurricane season at a free seminar in New Caney.
What you need to know
The fifth annual Hurricane Preparedness and Recovery Seminar will be hosted by the East Montgomery County Improvement District, Hank's Think Tank and Studio One Three, according to EMCID's website. The event will feature storm preparation advice from local emergency professionals.
MADD Roofing and Generators will also teach generator safety at the event, according to EMCID.
