Master-planned community to add homebuilder, debut nature trails in New Caney

This fall, two construction milestones are expected for The Trails—a master-planned community in New Caney—according to a Sept. 17 news release from developer Castle Hill Partners.

The update

First America Homes, a division of developer The Signorelli Co., has joined the lineup of builders for the community's second phase, which features 344 homesites also contracted to Chesmar, Coventry, Westin and Lennar, according to the news release. First America Homes is scheduled to begin building move-in-ready houses this fall.

Spanning more than 30 acres, the second phase of The Trails is offering homes for sale on 40-, 45-, 50- and 60-foot homesites, as previously reported by Community Impact.

Meanwhile, two new nature trail loops are scheduled to open this fall, per the release. The trails will be among the many amenities for residents enjoying the outdoors. 

“It all comes together to give today’s homebuyers what they’re looking for—a choice of new homes at attainable prices, amenities and outdoor recreation, nearby retail conveniences and easy access to major employment centers,” said Tiffany McMillan of Castle Hill Partners in the release.

Homesites in Phase One of The Trails have all been sold, per the release. Across Phase One and Phase Two, about 300 homes have been erected.

The context

The Trails is located near the intersection of the Grand Parkway and Plum Grove Road in New Caney, as previously reported by Community Impact. The community features 600 contiguous acres of natural land reserved for future trails and outdoor recreation, as well as space designated for a proposed on-site school.
