A new 585-home community named Gemini will be opening soon in Splendora, according to a Feb. 20 news release from developer Ellison Development.
The big picture
Gemini will span 86 acres, featuring homes starting at around $150,000, according to the release. Features of the community will include:
“We wanted Gemini to feel special—like a place [where] families can truly put down roots and grow,” said Colleen Ellison, a managing member and head of sales, marketing and operations for Ellison Development, via the release.
The details
Homebuilder D.R. Horton will be constructing the houses in the Gemini community, per the release. Homes are currently on sale.
Construction on the community began in December and is expected to wrap up around early 2028 to early 2029, said a spokesperson for Ellison Development via a Feb. 20 email.
