Extra Space Storage assumed management of two self-storage facilities in New Caney and one in Porter in January, a company spokesperson confirmed via email May 14. The facilities were previously called BestBox Storage.
The locations originally opened between December 2023 and July 2024, as previously reported by Community Impact.
The facilities offer self-storage options for rent that are guarded with security features such as:
- 24/7 video surveillance
- Coded gate entry
- Lock checks
- Protection plans
Customers aren’t expected to be inconvenienced by the management change, the spokesperson said. Extra Space Storage has more than 4,300 properties across 42 U.S. states.
