On June 8, a groundbreaking ceremony was held for the “Park Phase” of a 6.3-acre project for The Dwelling church, a spokesperson for the church confirmed via email June 10.

According to the email, features of the Park Phase will include:

  • Sodded community sports fields
  • A covered pavilion with restrooms
  • A driveway and parking areas
  • Retention and detention areas
Future phases of construction are planned to include a playground and a new ministry facility for community events and worship.
