The East Montgomery County Improvement District launched a new survey in mid-June to collect community input on the future of a 200-acre plot of land in New Caney.
The overview
EMCID officials are collecting input on Phase 2 of the site, which is slated to become a roughly 64-acre park, as previously reported by Community Impact. The park will be located along FM 1485 near the road’s intersection with Gene Campbell Road in New Caney.
Proposed ideas for the park include gardens, playgrounds, and walking and biking trails, but details are not finalized.
