New Braunfels sees year-over-year uptick in December home sales

The average home price in New Braunfels remained above $345,000 over the last six months. The 78132 ZIP code average was the highest region of the city at about $560,030, according to the data.

The real estate market for the New Braunfels area experienced a total of 246 home sales in December, according to data from the Four Rivers Association of Realty.

In the 78130 ZIP code, 151 homes sold, while 95 sold in the 78132 ZIP code in December.

In December, year-over-year median home prices decreased in the 78132 ZIP code, but increased in the 78130 ZIP code.

Compared to December 2023, the number of homes under contract in the 78130 ZIP code increased by just over 21% in December 2024. Similarly, homes under contract in the 78132 ZIP code, increased by 22%.

The average number of days homes spent on the market in December 2024 decreased in the 78130 ZIP code compared to December 2023. In the 78132 ZIP codes, homes were on the market for around 129 days in December 2024, according to the data.
