Homes in New Braunfels stayed on market less than 3 months in October

There were 265 homes under contract in October in New Braunfels, compared to 175 in the same timeframe last year.

That’s according to the latest monthly data provided by the Four Rivers Association of Realtors, a real estate group that covers Caldwell, Comal, Guadalupe and Hays counties.

Homes in New Braunfels stayed on the market on average less than three months in the 78130 and 78132 ZIP codes, and according to the data, more than 350 new listings were added to the market during October.

There was also a 34% year-over-year increase in the number of homes sold in the 78130 ZIP code.

116 homes were sold in the $300,000-$499,000 price range. Of those sold in the $750,000-$999,999 range, all but one were in the 78132 ZIP code.

The median home sales price was down compared to October of last year by 1.8% in 78132 to $525,000 and down by 1.3% in 78130 to $325,000.
