Attend festivals, a spring market and a living history and music festival in New Braunfels this spring. This list is not comprehensive. Events are subject to change.
Big Spring Market
Magic-Time Markets and the Comal County Fair are hosting a spring market with over 75 vendors selling home decor, handmade crafts, gourmet sweets and clothing. Parking is free and a portion of ticket sales will go toward the Comal Cops for Kids Foundation.
April 12, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; April 13, 11 a.m.-4 p.m
$5 early bird tickets, $6 at the gate (12 and under are free)
Comal County Fairgrounds, 701 Common St., New Braunfels
There will be seven to nine large displays of traveling model railroads of various sizes. There will be over 60 vendors with over 300 tables for attendees to peruse. There will also be a food court.

$10 admission for adults (14 and older); $3 admission for children (5-13 years old)
New Braunfels Civic/Convention Center, 375 S. Castell Ave., New Braunfels
This living history and music festival includes candle making and woodworking demonstrations, as well as children's crafts and games. There will also be German dancers, singers, food trucks, beer, wine and more.

4th Annual Woofs and Wine
Service Dogs for Kids is hosting its annual fundraising event which features wine flights, small bites and charcuterie boards. The nonprofit organization provides training for psychiatric service dogs for youth who have endured abuse and suffer from anxiety, depression or Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

This annual event will have hundreds of vendors selling automotive-related items, as well as antiques, crafts and other miscellaneous items. Parking is also free to attendees. No dogs allowed.

Comal County Fairgrounds, 701 Common St., New Braunfels
The annual cardboard boat race will have participants launch their handmade vessels through the Chute. Spectators are encouraged to participate in educational and imaginative activities hosted by event partners on the Comal River banks between races.

Hill Country Craft Beer Festival
This annual event will have over 150 varieties of beer from more than 35 Texas breweries. The festival also features locally-sourced wines, live music and various food vendors.

Wurstfest Grounds, 178 Landa Park Drive, New Braunfels
This annual festival will feature live music, food vendors, and wine and craft beer samples. Texas Country singer-songwriter Cory Morrow is the headliner for the event.
