New Braunfels ISD calls trustee election

The New Braunfels ISD board of trustees ordered a May 3 general election of trustees for District 1 and two at-large positions during its meeting Jan. 13.

What you need to know

At-large trustees Kimberly Goodwin and Megan Stratemann-Willis are seeking reelection, according to the district’s 2025 elections website. Goodwin was elected to the board in May 2023 and Stratemann-Willis was elected in May 2022.

District 1 Trustee Morgan Renaud—who was elected to the board in May 2022—is also seeking reelection.

The main early voting locations will be at the Comal County Elections Office, located at 396 N. Seguin Ave., in New Braunfels, and Guadalupe County Elections Office at 215 S. Milam St., in Seguin.

Dates to know

The last day to register to vote is April 3. Early voting will be from April 22-29, according to the Texas Secretary of State’s website.

Applications for a place on the ballot must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Feb. 14.
