Comal ISD hosted a dedication ceremony Aug. 17 for Comal Creek Elementary School, one of the newest campuses to open in time for the 2023-24 school year.
The gist
The 96,000-square-foot campus features outdoor courtyards, play areas, indoor gyms and large classrooms for students, among other amenities.
The campus provides relief for Morningside and Garden Ridge elementary schools. Voters passed a 2021 bond election to fund the construction of the $35 million elementary campus.
