Freddy C's expanding to New Braunfels

Family-owned bar Freddy C's—a San Marcos staple that opened in 2018—is expanding its reach to New Braunfels.

Owner Jamie Frailicks said he is familiar with the area and that "New Braunfels was the next logical step" in expanding the Freddy C's brand.

The second location, which will be located where Terrace Social Haus was previously, will be a bar and grill, said Frailicks, unlike the San Marcos location, which is only a bar.

The menu will be traditional bar food, Frailicks said, which will include burgers, flatbreads and other shareable items.

He said the main bar and kitchen is the primary focus in order to open in June, while a second floor rooftop patio is expected to be open in the fall.
