A new location of Garcia’s Mexican Restaurant is slated to open August 17 in the Gruene Heights retail behind HTeaO.
About the project
The New Braunfels location is owned by John Henry Ybarra, who is related to Curtis and Antonia Garcia, the founders of the restaurant company.
Ybarra said the new restaurant will feature the same menu of Mexican and American dishes such as enchiladas, fajitas, tacos, chicken fried chicken, seafood and more. Outdoor patio seating and a bar area will also be added.
