A European-inspired restaurant and wine bar called Favorite Neighbor is anticipated to open its doors to the New Braunfels community at 494 N. Union Avenue in July.

The restaurant is owned by Abigail Porter. Favorite Neighbor will offer scratch-made small plates, sandwiches on homemade breads, and more, Porter said.

Porter said she is excited for what is to come for the restaurant.
“As locals to New Braunfels, we want Favorite Neighbor to be a unique gathering place for the old downtown neighborhood. We hope to bring a fresh perspective to a casual spot for the community to visit any day of the week,” she said.
