A pet resort is making its way to New Braunfels.
What you need to know
Le Chateau Pet Resort has plans to open at 301 Caney Creek Road in 2027. With pet resorts in Wichita Falls and Amarillo, the New Braunfels location represents the pet resort’s growth, according to a news release.
Le Chateau Pet Resort was founded in 2009 by Dawn Hallgren, who wanted to raise the standard of professional pet care, according to the release.
“We believe pets deserve a wonderful vacation of their own,” Hallgren said in the release. “We want families to leave knowing their companions will be safe, comfortable, engaged and genuinely cared for while they are away.”
Since 2019, Hallgren has maintained her Certified Professional Animal Care Operator designation through the Professional Animal Care Certification Council. The company also works to support professional education and third-party certification for its management team, according to the release.
