Shared office space Sammelplatz opens in New Braunfels

A new shared office space has opened in New Braunfels. Sammelplatz brings local businesses and nonprofits together in a shared space with the intention to make a positive impact on the community.

Sammelplatz, meaning “assembly point” in German, has 10 total office spaces and also features two kitchen areas, a main lobby and two public meeting areas that can be rented out by anyone in the community.

“Our tagline is: ‘Sammelplatz, office suites for community-minded entrepreneurs,’” owner Carol Wheeler said. “And really our goal is that everybody who's a part of this space is committed to the community of New Braunfels, or people that are giving back.”

Nopa Leadership

Nopa Leadership provides leadership coaching and consultations from owner Carol Wheeler to clients with the intention to guide people in identifying their passions and strengths, and to grow as leaders in their fields.

Dr. Janell Sosa, a board-certified family physician, has opened a new office in New Braunfels. She treats patients of all ages and specializes in family medicine, women’s health and common mental health issues. She also performs multiple small procedures, including skin biopsies. Through the direct medical care model, patients pay a monthly membership fee for unlimited and direct access to the physician.

Dr. Travis Simmons has opened an office in New Braunfels at Sammelplatz. He is a board-certified family physician with additional training in functional medicine and integrative medicine. Patients pay a monthly membership fee for unlimited and direct access to the physician by utilizing direct medical care.

Sister Rivers Realty has opened an office at Sammelplatz. The realty business strives to offer specialized expertise while serving the local community. The business is owned by broker Stephanie Jameson, with realtors Micki Scott, Jessica Mock and Jeanette Newman also members of the Sister Rivers Realty team.

A new life-coaching business has opened in the Sammelplatz offices in New Braunfels. Penny Pereboom Coaching offers eight-week group coaching programs with the goal of empowering people to discover their inner purpose.

Elive Health has recently opened in New Braunfels at the Sammelplatz offices. Owner Chista Elza, board-certified nurse practitioner and functional medicine expert, specializes in clinically investigating what causes fatigue, hormone imbalance, thyroid issues, digestive issues and more.

The nonprofit organization was previously working out of offices at 244 FM 306, Ste. 120, New Braunfels. New Braunfels Angels first formed in 2018 and aims to provide support to children, youth and families in the foster care community through intentional giving, relationship building and mentorship.
